Sunday 17th: Arrival York
Monday 18th: On Monday we went to the Melton College for the first time. We visited the Minster and the teachers from College told us some interesting things about the city. In the evening we went to the Christmas market and after that we went to our host families for dinner.
Tuesday19th: After the language course on Tuesday we visited the city centre in our study groups. The teachers showed us the famous sights and we bought some souvenirs.
Wednesday 20th: On Wednesday, after our lessons, we visited the city centre again. We made a Selfie Tour and saw a lot of the city. We had a very funny day with the other people from our team.
Thursday 21st: On Thursday some of us made scones with one of the teachers from Melton College. It was very tasty. After that we went to the Chocolate factory. Meanwhile, the other groups went to the Dungeon, St Paul’s or went for a Ghost Walk in the evening.
Friday 22nd: On Friday we all went to the Melton College for the last time. After the school lessons at 12.30pm we had lunch and some free time until 18:00pm. We all met at the college at six o’clock to play a game together (“Pub Quiz”). After that we all went home and spent the last evening at our host family’s house.
Saturday 23rd: On Saturday we left our host family and met at the bus. We said goodbye to our hosts and drove to a small coast town called Whitby where we had some time to get an idea of the city. Later, we drove to the harborr and got on the ferry back to Rotterdam.
Sunday 24th: On Sunday we had an English breakfast on the ferry and after we arrived in Rotterdam, we drove back to Osnabrück with our bus to see our families.
